After a very nice year with new album and a lot of touring I'm signing out.
I got a few gigs coming up in central Europe Feb/March 08. Dates will be posted here.
Untill then I'm going to do some travelling and general relaxing.
Me and the guys in the band want you to know that because of you we had an excellent time on tour this autumn. Thanks a lot to all you people who showed up and gave us your support! You make me a very lucky man.
Hopefully see some of you next year!
Yours sincerely,
Moneybrother

Aftobladet saw the gig at Cirkus and gave it 4 plus of 5.
"Sedan hinner Wendin även göra Clash-stinn duett med Love Antell i Florence Valentin-låten ”Pokerkväll i Vårby Gård” innan han helt på egen hand rundar av med den närmast dumdristiga covern ”At last”, en jazzrökig evergreen som gjorts odödlig av bland andra Etta James.
Men givetvis går han i land med den också.
Han kan ju det här."

End of august (in scandinavia the 22nd) Moneybrother will release his fourth record (including Pengabrorsan) titled Mount Pleasure.
"Mount Pleasure" - Track by Track

"Guess Who's Gonna Get Some Tonight"
"It's a great album opener, I'm really satisfied with it. It's a classic rock'n'roll song. I wanted a song that sounded like 'Summer Of '69' I think."
"Down At The R"
"This is a song about hanging out with your friends in a bar. That might sound like a childish thing to write a song about, but all guys have a favourite place where you meet some good friends and one evening can really make a big difference in a lousy week."
"It Will Not Happen Here"
"I wrote that when I was with this girl in San Francisco. We were at the hotel and she was sleeping and I could hear the traffic outside the hotel, the sirens from the police cars and the rain falling, but she couldn't hear any of it because she was asleep. And I realized I was really happy and it was a great night."
"It Might As Well Be Now"
"The singer on that song is a Norwegian artist called Annie Brun. I just love her voice. The song is about me sitting in a place where I always sit. And you could tell I'm not the happiest guy in the world. And one day the door opens and the reasons why I'm not the happiest guy in the world walks in to the bar. I always knew I would run into her some time. And the whole song is just a dialog between these two persons - just me trying to get the girl to sit down for a little bit."
"Any Other Heart"
"It's about a friend of mine called Victor. He used to play in a band, he started Monster, my first band. And the song is about us growing up and how we fought to make the music we wanted to make."
"Just Another Summer"
"It's about growing old really. It's about how the summers and the magic of falling in love just seemed bigger when you were a kid. So it's a melancholic song but still a fast one."
"Will There Be Music?"
"Every album should have at least one Thin-Lizzy-Rip-Off. That's my Thin-Lizzy-Rip-Off on the album. I absolutely adore Thin Lizzy and I don't want to make an album without a song sounding exactly like them. My favourite Thin-Lizzy-Rip-Off is by Nick Lowe called 'So It Goes'. Actually he may have done before even hearing it but it sounds like an absolute classic Thin Lizzy Song."
"It Is Time For Falling Apart"
"That song is about working two weeks in a row and calling your baby up to tell her that it's time to go out and have a good time and maybe get drunk to the point where everything falls apart. So it's about that."
"No Damn! I Don't Love You"
"It's about the feeling you get when you're trying to convince yourself that you're not in love anymore, that it's over, that you have moved on and forgotten all about it. But than there is a beautiful night you are spending on your own and you realize: What's the point of a beautiful night when you are spending it all by yourself?"
"I Know It Ain't Right"
"It's a goodbye song. It's a song about breaking up. It's a song about the last night."
